It took a couple of decades, but Chef Charles Handford found his way back up to New England—metaphorically speaking, of course—as the Executive Chef at Nantucket. Charles embarked on his culinary career in New England back in the 90s, where he attended school, and took his first "real cooking job” in Chicago. After completing a successful apprenticeship in the Windy City, he relocated to Greenville, SC where he has been the Chef at some of the city’s finest restaurants. With a stellar resume and 20+ year lineage with top-flight restaurants, Charles brings a new level of fine dining and culinary excellence to Nantucket Seafood.
